Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I know a lot of you were able to play some golf due to our great fall weather.

Regretfully, we have some bad news regarding the main well on the course. The motor had to be pulled and it was determined that it had burned up. We are still watering with the small well and due to the cooler weather, have been able to keep everything in pretty good shape. We are working with the insurance company now to see if there is anything they can do on the well. We’ll let you know as details come available. The course continues to be in good condition even though it has been stressed by the lack of rain.

We are still working to get the 40 acre land tract closed. It looks like we will close before the end of the year. We will let you know as soon as the transaction has been completed.

Hope everyone can join us for the Christmas Party scheduled for December 8th at 6:30 pm. This promises to be a great time of good food, fun and fellowship. Please note that everyone needs to bring a $5.00 scratch-off lottery card for exchange. Look forward to seeing you there.

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday!! The weather around then was very pleasant, hopefully we can keep some of those nice warm temperatures around for a while and you all can get some golfing in while its nice!!

Well it’s hard to believe that this year has flown by so fast, but Christmas is right around the corner. In fact, as of this writing it will be exactly 4 weeks from today. While we are on the subject of Christmas, I will be having a Christmas sale in the golf shop so stop on by and get some goodies while I have them on sale. All golf bags will be $35 off, all Men’s and Ladies clothing will be 25% off, there will be deals on most everything in the shop. However, these discounts will apply only to in stock items. If there is something you are in need of that I don’t currently have in stock, I can always get it ordered up for you. These prices will be available only to Canyon Country Club members. So if you come in the golf shop and don’t see any sale signs, it only means that I am not advertising those prices to the outside players. Hopefully you will see something you need for a nice present!!

There have been no tournament results to post and will not be until the Polar Bear tournament. In the meantime, come on out to your club and play some golf this fall!! Hope to see you all around the club very soon, and happy holidays!!

Christmas Decorating

We will be decorating the Club House for Christmas, Saturday December 1st @ around 10:30am. Please bring you decorating skills and join us for a morning of fun. We could also use a few husbands to help.

Christmas Party

Ladies' Auxiliary Christmas party will be held December 3rd. Be sure to bring your favorite dish, we will gather at 6:30pm. Guests are welcomed. Be sure to remember we are not bringing gifts this year, but will be donating our $15.00 each to the food bank.
